No worries. I wouldn't be that complacent about a Foligno trade. I love this guy's potential. He's absolutely a Murray-type player.

Wait, I assume if he was tearing it up in Bingo on PP they'd throw him in for sure, right?
He's not the "PLUG" I wanted to see in the lineup tonight. I really wanted to see Zubov or Smith get the call to be honest. Shannon i sfine for two games against the Isles, but if we lose any of these two games, there's going to be shake up. Murray and Hartsburg and ALfie are not happy with how the team is playing.

that's pretty much WORD FOR WORD what I too have been hearing.

By all accounts, Shannon is the guy getting Zubov and SMith the puck and really opening up things on the PP for them so... I think the right guy got the call.

the more I check into it, you're right Neely, and I think it was Heater who mentioned breaking up Bingo's top scorers right now wouldn't be a good move...

I would have preferred to see Zubov or Smith, but that's because I'm personally biased, but I wholeheartedly agree that Shannon is or at least appears to be the logical one to come up. Here's hoping he does us ALL proud! Smile
and hey, if he can expose who the REAL weak-links are, kudos!

He is also a right handed shot who plays well in space, and thats exactly what the Sens need on that top line. I like the move made by HArstberg A LOT. I said it should be done yesterday, and it was! Thats right, I am ALWAYS correct.

They lost last night, but Zubov and Smith responded to losing their wingman. Zubov and Smith both had a goal and an assist I believe. I know Zubov got his 8th last night from Smith, so I guess they're still having fun together.

I would NOT bring up the kids until they've had a full year of AHL experience though.

Zubov has for sure, Smith is a rookie, Shannon has NHL experience.

Yeah, Shannon's ready, knows what to expect and is playing absolutely amazing down there, so it's good that he gets the call. And it's even better than Zubov and Smith didn't look lost - although maybe they did and they still scored.

Regin will be back soon, so that'll help is Shannon stays (which I hope, but I doubt).

If Shannon fits in, I see no reason Foligno wouldn't be sent down. It's not good for him to be on the fourth line.

Because Vermette needs to take a seat! We cant scratch a single guy and no one is worried about losing their roster spot except the kid with the 2 way contract... Thats not fair at all.

Yeah, good point. I'd be in favour of sitting Vermette.

I'd be on board with having Vermette spend some time in the pressbox. This team is too comfortable.

That is the worst thing the team could do. Vermette hasn't been scoring but he's been getting chances. He's been working hard. Be patient, it will come.

I think this team still believes it's the beast of the East and it needs a kick in the Donkey to wake them up.

There was a great article in 24Hour I think. It should how far below .500 we are between November 13, 07 and November 13, 08.

Something like 24 - 36 and something.
