Ill bet a lot of cash that Vermette is on Columbus' radar and the Sens are trying to find someone worth taking back.

Mason was, but he looks like he might have just stolen that job from Leclaire, and perhaps Leclaire is now available, but who know. I still wouldnt deal for a goalie if I was Ottawa, I think we are ok right now in that area.

I dont see a lot of players on that columbus roster that would really help, or are Murray type players.

He will be a main stay by years end IMO. Too much tallent to keep him off the roster.

He's too young I say. Give him a year in Syracuse or Sudbury(please not Sudbury) to get used to the NA game

Not sure, I dont think being in Columbus would hurt him, but I dont think Syracuse is a bad spot for the guy either.

Wonder if we could acquire the rights to John Hughes, if the Jackets still even have them.

He's a former Brampton Battalion. Went to Columbus camp and was assigned to Syracuse, however, he refused assignment and rather go back to junior (Brampton/OHL), he signed a contract overseas for Salzburg EC in Austria.

Or maybe it's Alex Picard? lol
