That he would...
but he would also look pretty darn snazzy with Vermette and Foligno...
Heat-Spez-Alfi
Shanny-Verm-Foligno
but then I think...hey Verm played awesome with Spez and Heat the other day...so maybe this could work too...
Heat-Spez-Verm
Shanny-Foligno/Fish-Alfie
either way...adding Shanny would be stellar for this org...he brings everything!!
where did you hear he is finally on the market...I can't find it?

Would you rather have a D-man with:
a)8 points in 8 games and a +2
or
b)1 point in 8 games and a -1?
If you chose a), then you chose Keith Ballard over Jay Bouwmeester.

Yeah Ballard has been a beast, he may look like a pretty attractive option but I really don't see the Panthers letting him go.. His contract is locked for a while...

No, they just signed him, but I thought the numbers were shocking. I had no idea Bow was struggling so badly offensively. At 30 minutes a night, you'd think he'd kinda get a point a game by accident!

Those are 30 extremely hard minutes. They arnt Meszaros minutes, or Finger minutes. His 30 mins are against the Spezza's, the Crosby's, the Ovechkin's, and so on.
J Bo can move the puck with the best in the league, and may be the most natural skater in the league. Your number 1 threat on the Panthers is Horton, who I think he a very good player, but should hardly be your number 1 forward. J Bo on the Sens may win a Norris once Lidstrom is retired.

With Bow he is playing 1st string PP (with Murphy? I believe against OTT) and stayed most of 2nd string. He also played 1/2 the PK. When they played Ottawa, Florida only used 4 D to whole 3rd period so his mins were very high. They were not all hard mins. but he played against the Spezza line as much as possible since OTT had the last change. I also thought he was the best player on the ice.
