Let's get this boy here...that would be amazing...

He would look great on the top line with Spezza and Heatley.

$85/month for cable, internet and HD is pretty damn good actually.

It's only 1M down. For TV, I get the VIP package plus one theme (the one with all the home decorating/remodeling and hospital drama channels -- would I rather pay the $9 for TSN-HD? you betcha, but it's not my choice). I got a weet deal about three years ago when I handed in my two 2700 receivers (BEV) and got an HD-PVR, a second SD terinal and a cable modem, all rent-free for life (as long as I remain a Rogers customer). I also got a couple of free PPVs, all-you-can-watch for 3 months and some other stuff, but that's all long-gone.

So I get the PVR ($25), 2nd terminal ($5?) and cable modem ($3) for free, plus since I "rent" the PVR from them I don't pay the extra HD fee. Yes, it's a sweet deal, but honestly, if it wasn't for the freebies, I'd be switching back and forth between Rogers and BEV every two years (and getting the 24-month rent-free -- you can still get that, but you mihgt have to ask several times, going up the chain).

Oj, and I also get 15% off because I have three services (I think they count HD as a separate service from SD-TV). I've been itching to pull the trigger on getting HomePhone -- don't think it would save me all that much over Bell, but I'd get some features (like Caller Id) for the same price. I'm just concerned that I might have to increase my intenet access.

That he would...

I'd be open to getting this guy. If he comes, I only want one thing:

A video of him riding the bikes after the game, and Mendes on a fake bike next to him.

Let me ask you this:

Would you rather have a D-man with:

a)8 points in 8 games and a +2

or

b)1 point in 8 games and a -1?

If you chose a), then you chose Keith Ballard over Jay Bouwmeester.

Yeah Ballard has been a beast, he may look like a pretty attractive option but I really don't see the Panthers letting him go.. His contract is locked for a while...

Ballard has been awesome, but when you watch J-Bo play.. you just know what he brings.

I'm hoping Karlsson can bring that to the table in a couple years. I've heard nothing but praise for that kid.

No, they just signed him, but I thought the numbers were shocking. I had no idea Bow was struggling so badly offensively. At 30 minutes a night, you'd think he'd kinda get a point a game by accident!

He's never really had great offensive numbers. The potential is there, but in the past his points have been few at the start of the season and usually pickup after the midway mark. To this point his best atributes have been his passing and skating. He's a great PMD but it doesn't always translate into offensive numbers.

That's why stats lie. The game here in Ottawa, J Bo was easily the best player on the ice for both teams, and the most noticable. The guy is only 24 and will only get better. Plays against the other teams best players every night, and for the most part, makes the game look effortless.

Those are 30 extremely hard minutes. They arnt Meszaros minutes, or Finger minutes. His 30 mins are against the Spezza's, the Crosby's, the Ovechkin's, and so on.

J Bo can move the puck with the best in the league, and may be the most natural skater in the league. Your number 1 threat on the Panthers is Horton, who I think he a very good player, but should hardly be your number 1 forward. J Bo on the Sens may win a Norris once Lidstrom is retired.

With Bow he is playing 1st string PP (with Murphy? I believe against OTT) and stayed most of 2nd string. He also played 1/2 the PK. When they played Ottawa, Florida only used 4 D to whole 3rd period so his mins were very high. They were not all hard mins. but he played against the Spezza line as much as possible since OTT had the last change. I also thought he was the best player on the ice.

Hard mins meaning he plays against other teams top lines and on the PK. There are 3 elite D man under 25 in this league, J Bo being 1. That includes Pahneuf and Weber as well.

I think I would add Green to the list ... D. Keith is also close to Weber

I would call Green a great offensive D man, but I would not call him an all around, Elite D man, but thats just my opinion. I love Keith too.
