Fresh off a SO win over the Bolts, stopping a 6-game losing skid, the Sens are right back at it vs the Panthers tonight.

Wonder if we'll see Anderson tonight. Back to back situation usually calls for that, but we've seen stranger decisions this year.

Nothing but pride on the line for this game between these two clubs.

EK with #20 last night... can he add to it tonight?

GO SENS GO!!!

If Anderson doesn't start tonight he will not be back with the Sens next season.  Would be the ultimate insult to the guy and after what we have heard about his past and what he is doing now I would fully support it.

EK leading all d-men in goals and points... let's go! Only Keith has more assists (55) but only 5 goals.

Not even sure if I'll watch tonight, to be honest.

What's up with Anderson, Neely? I must've missed something...what have we heard about his past?

Well in Colorado he was an absolute mess and things just seem to be repeating themselves.  Also, while the team was in a tail spin here he was no where to be found and I think the belief is the team and coaching staff thought he was good enough to play but he sat himself out.  Just my feeling on it and the article in the Sun the other day kind of adds to the speculation.

Fact is Anderson is hurt at least once a year, and proven he doesn't like playing with any discomfort (doesn't battle) and you need that in a goaltender, and he lays the blame on the team in front of him while rarely taking any himself.  Mix that in with his past in Colorado and not being liked by his teammates it all makes sense.

If he starts tonight I don't think anyone would raise an eyebrow but if he doesn't based on the fact he lives for this road trip playing in front of friends and family, it is absolutely the signal he won't be back.

Package the Gregger up with some another piece(s) and bring in young Soupy from F-L-A.

Last place he will go now with Luongo there.

If Anderson is traded I would bet Vancouver, Buffalo, maybe Minny, maybe Edmonton, NYI could be possible, Pitt if Flurry craps the bed again.  There's options out there but it could be in a package for someone for sure.

I think Anderson recently had a baby, I think he also had one around the time he disappeared in Colorado.

I'm not sure he's such a big villain. Doesn't seem he's a #1, he can only be real good in short spurts.

I'm not so sure now that he couldn't go in as a back up if enough salary is coming back but we'll see.

Maybe to Minny for the rights to Moulson or, like you say, to Buffalo in a package including some guys Tim Murray might covet for something decent...?

The main thing I guess is his attitude when things go sour. He sure seems like he gets pretty pissed at the entire team, but we don't know what goes on behind closed doors.

Again, goalies have to battle and be mentally and physically tough to really lead a team.  Anderson is supposed to be the guy that wants to turn the team around, get them out of the slump but he decided to wait until he was feeling perfect and not "good enough" to get back in there.  Think he lost a lot of respect there considering what Lehner has gone through the past 2 weeks and how he has battled his way back.  IMO this could be the point it's Lehner's team and earned the respected needed from MacLean to be his guy.  I hope that's the case anyways because I don't think it can be understated what Lehner has done at this point to battle back the way he has.

I think Minny is a logical place for him to land at this point.  Bryzgalov isn't the answer there for sure and he hasn't been great in general.  We'll see though.

Will we see Wiercioch in for BigRig?

Hope so... resigning Phillips as much as I like him and still believe he should be the guy wearing the "C" next year, esh he's struggled hard.  He's having issues so him sitting out the rest of the way might not be the worst thing in the world.

No chance Anderson is moved. Mark my words on that one. The Sens don't mind if Anderson goes down to injury once in a while, that's what Lehner's there for until Anderson's contract has run its course and he's the number one.

He's getting some great reps right now, but you need a guy like Anderson there.
