No, I'm not.  I'm not saying it's a good strategy, but as a fall-back position sucking next year is not as bad as sucking this year.

Sucking next year will be worse than sucking this year because it will mean we learned nothing from this year and obviously didn't address the current problems.

The whole point I am making here is under normal circumstances and all logic points to Anderson starting tonight for various reasons and Lehner starting the 2nd game of a back to back, against Anderson's old team, and in front of his friends and family, to me that just slap in Anderson's face and he won't be back if that's the case.

By "they", are you referring to the pre-game show when a guy with the initials DB tried to stir up some mud?  He basically Burked Anderson by trashing him (alleging that all he had was a "stinger") and then saying "Don't get me wrong, I think Anderson is a terrific goalie."
