I’m starting to do some reading on prospects past the top 5 in next year’s draft and there are some very interesting names and capabities out there.
It’s shaping up to be a very good pick in the top 5 and a very deep draft for any 1st rounder we may have/acquire.

Crap. Who was it that I was supposed to send Prospect info to? Was it you?
Too bad Belleville is so far for me. I absolutely loved going last year when it was in Laval. Especially with the young talent we have on the team. We could destroy that tournamentwprager wrote:We're less than 2 months from the start of the regular season (October 2). The new Rookie Showcase (similar to the old Rookie Tournament but this time with Habs and Jets rookies) will run September 6-9. Games will be played at the CAA arena in Belleville. Package sales are done but single game tickets are available for $20. No assigned seats, so get there early. Given where the Sens are in relation to the other two teams we'd better have a good showing in this thing.
Main camp dates haven't been announced as far as I can tell, but the first pre-season game is Tuesday, September 17 in St John's. So I'll go ahead and assume camp will start on Friday the 13th. Probably appropriate, given the nightmare regular season we expect to see
I saw the Sens vs Habs and Sens vs leafs.wprager wrote:Wait, there was a rookie tournament last year? I don't think they had one after the Pens/Habs one broke up. Was it just the B-Sens and Rocket?
