What story lines are you looking forward to most this season?

History has a way of repeating itself. Trading Ceci + for Zaitsev was such a near-sighted move that could bite us in the a$$ similar to Phaneuf. I see him being our 3rd pairing RHD in two seasons from now. I guess his contract isn't a complete albatross but they could have retained Ceci for one more year, traded him at the deadline, and waived Harpur. Connor Brown is a depth forward in Ottawa.

Not a fan of the deal at all. But I remain uncertain about What Brown will bring.
Ottawa seems to value these 3rd liners a lot. They seem to draft them quite a bit.

I will defer to the experience and expertise of the people making these deals and hold off jugement 7ntil15-20 games.

Who else thinks Lassi is 4 years away? He's playing in a men's league, isn't he?

Isn’t it about filling into his size?
Obviously learning the NA pro game, he’s done juniors but there’s a jump. He could definitely make the team before that but solidified into the line-up 4 years could be about right.

7-1 now... that’s quite the slap. I didn’t see the team line ups for tonight. Do we have a clear advantage? They tend to do that at dev camps.

Yes their prospects are better than Winnipeg’s for sure (teams are at different stages). Nice to see our top guys dominate though.

I meant more in terms of guys playing tonight.

Goodness gracious...Logan brown was on absolute beast mode.

I wish I could actually *watch* the game. First yep period I was at the gym and their WiFi is awful. Tried the FB page and the quality was bad. TSN app was better but both steered from drop outs because of the wifi (or do I thought). Third period I was home but drop outs continued. Camera work was worse than Rogers Community Channel. Remember Formenton's breakaway from the penalty box? So they showed us was center ice for 10 seconds. TSN app doesn't have option to cast so I was watching on the phone. Geez, would it kill you to zoom in a little?

That said, utter domination. The Habs should be better.

Yeah, I was referring to full-time in 4 years. I think he gets some games in 3 years.

I know it's preseason but duclair looked really good tonight

Duclair and parker Kelly is going to be a player for Ottawa. He's gonna be a really great fore checker that will spark the team a lot in the future.

I assume they'll see what he can do in the ahl, but he could play immediately as a perfect 4th line player imo.

Anyone having problem accessing this site lately? Saying the site is up for renewal or deletion?
