Sure but the difference between Rask and Jones is massive.

This is by far the worst year that Jones has had in his NHL career, so what’s to say his play doesn’t improve?

Besides that, not everyone is contributing evenly in the sharks line-up but there’s room for more than a few to up their games. I mean, if they get passed the blues.

I don't think you can really count on Jones magically improving dramatically when there's a handful of games left.

To be fair he was a beast in a few of the games against Vegas and Colorado, but I'd still bet on Rask being more of a difference maker if they do face off against eachother. I can't count Carolina out yet though.

This year was so weird. Carolina's first series was hard but NYI was a cakewalk.
