Playoff predictions

I don’t know if prager will do us the honour of making brackets so we can see who’s the best predictor but these are my predictions for the first round.


Tampa over Columbus in 5

Boston over Toronto in 6

Washington over Carolina in 6

Isles over Pittsburgh in 7
( I know, might be wishful thinking but the pens aren’t what they used to be)

Calgary over Colorado in 4

Vegas over San Jose in 7

Nashville over Dallas in 6

St-Louis over Winnipeg in 7
(This really could be a toss up, could go either way)

All and all I’m not sure I feel washington making it all the way back to the finals. I have a feeling the finals could be Tampa Vegas and that suits me fine.
I’ll be in Vegas for the weekend of 25-26th of May and it be fun to see the atmosphere.

I agree with all of this with the exception of Toronto. I think they put up more of a fight and win 2 games.

Just go to http://bracketchallenge.nhl.com, sign up for an account if you don't already have one (I did, with my old email and a password I could not remember). Then look for the league GMhockey. It's an open league.

Then I can also enter the posts from here into my Prager's Bracket spreadsheet. My rules are safe as before. Everyone starts with 4 points. In the first round you get 2 points for picking the correct series winner, and a bonus point if you pick the correct winner *and* the right number of games. Every round subsequent told the points double.
