I imagine Pyatt will be switched out for Paul soon. For those arguing he's a defensive forward, the Sens have the worst PK and Pyatt has one of the league's worst +/-

Time to move on.

I was just thinking that. Maybe not too Dman but he could look like a top 10 guy soon.

I wonder if people are still gonna say mcavoy was a better pick. I think not.

I think he might be top 10 now to be honest. If not top 10, close. He's real good

I used to not mind Pyatt. Now I think he needs to be eliminated. Permanently.

I’m sure Pyatt can improve his game throughout the season. I’m sure he’ll get traded by the deadl8ne though. Probably for a mid to late pick depending how well he’s faired until then.

Tkachuk on Thursday’s fight: “I just thought it was a high hit...and especially on my landlord (Mark Stone). That’s me paying rent”

Thought this was too good to not repost

Lol, I just hear that too. That's my 2 months rent paid!

That kid is dynamite. Him, White, Chabot, Bath, Formenton, Duchene, Stone. All fun to watch.

What's up with Jaros, hurt?

Boucher said he wanted to give him he night to breath. He eluded that Jaros wasn't quite 100% but that a night off could help him

Fair enough then. He had struggled a couple of games, so hopefully he can recover.

I take back everything negative I said during the draft and the days that followed. And I can't wait till Zadina comes to and tries to show the Sens they mad a mistake.

It’s a bit too early to be throwing winners of that pick. Although I’m quite happy with Tkachuk as it stands

Pettersson may be running away with the rookie points race but the Sens have 3 rookies among the top 10 (actually 3 in the top 7). All the more remarkable because one of those rookies is a defenseman and another has missed half of his team's games.

8 points in 8 games versus 17 in 15 for Pettersson. Considering his first one in Boston where he was deer in the headlights, a bit, and the first game after his torn ligament injury, where he was understandably tentative, he actually had 8 points in 6 games where he was going 100%.

And he's leading the rookies in +/-.
