After a couple days off, the Sens play again tonight at home vs the Wings. The Sens have given up the most goals in the league and it's not particularly close.

The Wings are somehow on a 4 game winning streak. Batherson will play his first NHL game. Zack Smith should be back in the lineup as well. Matrix will start.

Anything less than a decisive victory is unacceptable.

It's nice to have your straightforward sensibilities and no-nonsense approach back in these hallowed halls.

Detroit is one of the hottest teams in the league right now. 4 straight (although only 1 in regulation) and 7 of 8. That's agree winning just 1 of their first 10.

I'm driving up to attend this game, looking forward to seeing what Batherson can do. Nice to have him up with Duchene, let's hope Boucher doesn't change that too quickly into the game.

Pyatt and Raymond will be Boucher's undoing. On any reasonable team those to would have been switched to different roles long ago.

Gotta love the Drake.

He's a lot stronger on his skates than I thought he'd be at this stage. Has a good shot, scored a nice one. Thumbs up to this whole game. Chabot is going to challenge for the best defenseman in this league and soon.

I was just thinking that. Maybe not too Dman but he could look like a top 10 guy soon.

I wonder if people are still gonna say mcavoy was a better pick. I think not.

Lots to like about that game except Boro getting run from behind into the boards with the ref staring straight at it and somehow not calling a penalty. Anyway, it must be blowing Boucher's mind that actually giving the rookies meaningful minutes and linemates can actually lead to success.

Welcome back, Mr. Anderson. We've missed you. Matrix

I imagine Pyatt will be switched out for Paul soon. For those arguing he's a defensive forward, the Sens have the worst PK and Pyatt has one of the league's worst +/-

Time to move on.

I think he might be top 10 now to be honest. If not top 10, close. He's real good

I used to not mind Pyatt. Now I think he needs to be eliminated. Permanently.
