He's shooting at nearly 15%, which is not sustainable. Sure, the assists will keep going but the goals are likely to cool off.

In other news, Shea Weber is returning to the Habs' lineup, and they needed a roster space. They plaed Karl Alzner (one of the worst recent FA signings) on waivers. Alzner makes $4.6M per year (he's under contract until 2022) and had 12 points in 82 games last year. He's been healthy-scratched a bunch this season already.

Why he (or anyone for that matter) thought Elliot could be anything more than a good back up is beyond me
