Harpur has been excellent . Chabot only missed last nights AHL game. He will be in the lineup next game

The average time on ice is an indication of what Marc Crawford thinks, the games played is what Boucher thinks. The stats are the tie breaker.

Chabot gets very sheltered minutes in the limited time.  Harpur plays much tougher minutes.  Watch Harpur, he has Ben very good, he'll be Ceci's replacement.

The debate shouldn't be between Chabot and Harpur, it's between Ceci and anyone else. He's atrocious and I am not sure why management continues to defend him.

Ev, Ceci broke twitter last night. He's statistically one of the worst dmen in the NHL. Just about every advanced stat shows how 'atrocious' he is.

PS: I'm not saying he's good or great, to me he's an average NHL d-man who has been scapegoated. His advanced stats are skewed by his deployment and who he plays with /against.

Don't go and try to divert the issue to how bad Sens twitter is. The point is that Ceci hasn't been very good this year. The "eye test" shows it, as do the stats.

The deployment of Ceci is a good point as he does get tough matchups. Maybe it's time to try something different since it clearly isn't working this year?

I don't think it was Sens Twitter with those stats. But I think the part where he said "shot neutral team" can't be right.

I've been a fairly strong defender of Ceci fur a while. I don't think he's doing as well as his deployment indicates (minutes and zone starts) but he's not as bad as Twitter thinks. But last game was pretty bad. And ice time indicates the coaches agreed. First period he had about a minute more ice time than Karlsson. By the end of the game he dropped to third on the team.
