Both teams come into this game having just broken losing steaks. Both could use the two points to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Watched the first on a half hour delay. Got "kicked out" and had to go to the other tv. Tried resuming the recording and Whole Home PVR screwed up (this recording is not available, it may have been deleted). I really hate the Next Box 2.

So I missed Pageau's goal. By the time I finally gave up hoping it's would fix itself the second was done, so I cranked up the volume Brian Adams then settled down to watch the third live.

Did I mention I hate Rogers?

Has Bobby been taking lessons from Stone? He embarrassed Drouin. If that had been Galchenyuk he would be on the 4th line for two weeks. Bobby has been shooting the puck a lot more of late. I guess that means he's due for another broken finger.

Is Karlsson back? He had a blast out there and set a record for outdoor game ice time.

played well, but our team defense was excellent. Karlsson was having tons of fun, and his excitement showed on the ice, as he was more the EK from last season. Nowhere was this more evident than in the blocked shots column (he had 8). He had been averaging about one per game which is crazy low for a defenseman playing as much as him, let alone the guy that was top 3 in this category last year. Hopefully this is the turning point this year for him.

Sure, he's got another ankle. And if they do the same surgery on that one, maybe a matching pair will work better.

That was a good game for Ottawa. Montreal stinks, but still a character win.

Montreal won 5 in a row when Price came back. They beat us badly the first two games this season. When Price is on they are still a bad "team" but they rack up the points.
