Anderson? How do you figure? Stone cost them a couple of goals, first with trying to go for the big hit and missing and then that unlucky bounce when he was trying to clear. Anderson got his stick kicked out of his hand on the first goal -- I think that's what the challenge should have been about; he skated through the crease to get the to the puck which was behind the goal line and knocked Anderson's stick out with his skate. On the first goal I think it was Claesson who knocked him over. Which goal do you blame on Anderson? The box score says 46 shots but I'm pretty sure on tv they said 47 heading to OT. In either case, that's about two touch downs too many shots. Claesson had 6 hits but only one of the Boro variety on a guy coming up the right side. Phaneuf needs to do that a bit more; Oduya, well, he isn't that type of player, really.

Let's hope they don't give up another half-century to the Leafs tomorrow.

Still pretty angry this morning. I assume Boucher and co. Are not at all impressed.

Pretty obviously blaming Anderson on the OT goal. That's a bad goal to give up. You can't give up 5 goals, simple as that.

We're gonna play hard against Toronto for sure.

Yeah, Anderson needs to be a bit better than he was last night. It sucks to cough up the 4-2 lead and then also sucks to lose in OT. Ceci could've played the OT goal a little better. Dion's penalty was dumb...could've given him a 5 minute major for a check to the head and I would've been OK with that.

Gotta keep in mind that the Devils are one of the hottest teams in the league right now and have been scoring a lot on everyone.

Wasn't Ceci's fault. Hoffman came on to replace Pyatt (I think) and he was late coming on and use the wrong end of the bench to come on (it's like he wasn't expecting to be the one replacing Pyatt or he though he was only coming on when they went on the offensive).

Also they didn't put out Karlsson because they figured they first have to win the face off or retrieve the puck, and then get him out. But they lost the face off and never re-gained possession.

I agree with the guys on the radio. Put out Karlsson; if they win the face off, great, if they lose, he's one of the best guys you have that can get the puck back. Stone is great offensively and great at stealing the puck, too. Then pick either Turris or Pageau for the center (wouldn't want Brass and Stone both out there at the same time 3-3).

Next line would be the other one of Turris/Pageau with Hoffman and Ceci. Then Brassard-Karlsson-Dzingel.

Ceci was -3 last night, though I don't think Stone played particularly well either and was responsible for at least two goals against. The momentum shift really happened when Phaneuf took the hit to the head penalty when they were up 4-2 at home. Not sure why Phaneuf felt the need to shoulder someone in the face when he had a clear path to the puck. The Sens deserved their fate. They were outplayed and couldn't close out the game when they could. It's as simple as that. No need to blame Boucher for choosing that line combo in overtime. They lost the game when NJ tied it up.
