We got a new goalie prospect. Not that we've had much luck developing those... I almost feel like it's not worth it. You're better off trading for one.

Or you could get a Matt Murray almost by accident

No harm in drafting a goalie late. You get a bunch in the system and hope one pans out.

No harm for sure but it seems more like a crap shoot.

Chabot-Ceci pairing would be the opposite of "comfortable". Truth is we have no one beside Boro who hits like Phaneuf, and no one - period - who is as hard in the crease. Harpur had the size but had shown little desire to play like that. Usually this cannot be taught, it has to be part of the player's personality. White might have it but we need it on the back end.

Yeah. Vegas has a bunch of defenceman they'd like to trade, then there's free agency as well.

We should sign miller as our 1b goalie. I mean....there's not enough jobs, he might not get a starting job.

I think P dorion will see if he can negotiate with a FA Dman, promising to try out in a pairing with karlsson as a promise to sign here before he tries the trade market. Which is fair. Lets see what happens. He's got Methot 5 mill to play with at least.

I wouldn't mind the sens going after Alzner. That would be perfect for EK.
If not kulikov is an interesting name out there but that would likely force Phaneuf to play top line.

Not sure they will go to that extent to add a UFA of that calibre. I see Ottawa adding some depth pieces. Forwards such as Nate Thompson or Brandon Pirri who can play bottom six minutes and add some offense. Personally I am surprised that Pyatt hasn't signed yet, and at this point I don't see Stalberg coming back. So both may not be back as the Sens lineup is pretty full as it is.
