Man do we ever have a gem in Mark Stone. One of the most underrated players in the league.

I thought Ryan played well. Lazar as well.

Wonderful win. Kept them to the outside, scored timely goals, everything was excellent.  I thought if they bounced  back and played well tonight, they were for real after that stinging loss on florida.

Turris, Stone and Hoffman are silky.  Brassard was solid too.  Very pleased.

21 shots against. Not bad.

If the Sens play just .500 the rest of the way they end up with 93 points. Used to be that was enough to get in but probably not this time around. With the wildcard setup and the strength of the Metropolitan it will probably take 97+. Crazy.

Habs lose, Leafs lose, Sens win, all is right in the universe today.

Tampa, Buffalo, Toronto all on 3 game losing streaks. Detroit's hit 5. Florida the only one on a winning streak, with 2. The Atlantic is terrible.

By the way, anyone remember me saying that *if* I ever get a numbered/named jersey it will be Stone #61? Well, I've already told the kids that's what I want for my b-day or Christmas. Next year they will not have a third jersey, but I wonder if they could still change their home/away ones. Would love one of the fan designs.
