Dorion as much as promised him some NHL games this year. If he doesn't sign when his season at BC is over I will be officially worried.

I'm patiently waiting for White to even sign a contract.

As a college player, you can't sign a pro-contract without relinquishing the NCAA eligibility.  So stop fear mongering everyone here you jerk :slap:

We all know that. But Pierre said he would be shocked if White would not be NHL ready this season, so the expectation was he would turn pro. Instead he returned to BC.

Right and that has nothing to do with him maybe wanting to further his education and stuff? We fans tend to be overly negative don't we?

Makes you wonder. Nothing wrong with that.

In fairness, everyone is NHL ready, according to Pierre.

With Lazar out now and another callup to be made today, I wonder if Dorion regrets passing on Purcell? We're getting stretched pretty thin!

Varone and Hammond called up. Anderson not heading out West after all. Wonder if this tone around it will be a little longer.

The hit that put Lazar out was late, from behind, head into the glass, elbow.

Fleury was taken out after giving up 4; Anderson was left in for 7. Not saying it would have made a difference, but it should have been done.

There was zero focus on the hit on Lazar last night from the TSN crew, but I wouldn't be totally surprised if the offender got a call from NHL Player Safety. It looked like a forearm right to the back of the head...granted, Lazar was bending over a bit....

Interesting news on Matrix .

I think the news is that he's taking another leave. Couple days ago they said he was going on the road trip. Now one day into the trip he's going back to be with his wife.

That talk Boucher had with him after taking him out was interesting. Anderson did not look like he was into the game at all. Maybe it's time to take an extended leave until the treatments are over.

Steve Lloyd mentioned Ryan is close to a return. I haven't heard anything on Lazar.

well that's good. i'm sure Tim will be pleased to hear that.

since the offence seems to be heating up that will hopefully get bobby going. he's got to remember he's a goal scorer. watching him you can still see how he's still in playmaker mode.

Typically it's 6-7 weeks for the treatment (she's getting both radiation and chemo), and back on the 18th they said treatments had already begun. So more like a couple months for the treatments to end and some recovery time.
