Yeah I could see him sticking around. Move into the org in some capacity and grow from there.
But I hope we don't hang too long on that decision as I think Dorion should handle his position if he won't be coming back. We need to fill his spot externally IMO.

Yeah, but he can wait at this point I guess and see how perron does.

You really see Perron jumping on this team this year eh?
I'd imagine he'd take a solid year in the A at least but who knows. He could wind up passing other prospects on the depth chart

The way I look at it, if Perron absolutely tears up the AHL in the first 20 or so games they might take a look at him at the NHL level for a while. He's got such a great skill set, I wonder if there's any harm to seeing him for a bit at this level if he's dominating the A - and maybe he sticks.

Logan Brown had a hat trick tonight for Windsor. Looking better and better.

Wow, this Dung is getting serious. The guy's gonna be average 3 PPG soon. How many of those were on the PP?

1 5 on 5 and then 2 Powerplay goals in 40 seconds. The kid's a beast!

just saw our schedule. It's VERY soft. We can do a lot of damage early on goal scoring wise, and even if we are bad defensively while we're mastering the systems, we should be fine. This is HUGE for the system development.

MTL
DET
ARI
TB
VAN
CGY
EDM
CAR
VAN
BUF

Those are the next ten games. We can easily get at least 14 points out of that.

I had us at closer to 20, MarkStone, but I usually overestimate. 14 is a nice number.

He actually had a hattrick in the first 11 minutes. Must have taken the foot off the has pedal and coasted for the last 49. He's no Auston Matthews. That guy kept going for the full 40.

In all seriousness, that's a nice schedule. I believe Price is still out and Shaw will be watched very closely. Buffalo is missing Eichel and maybe Kane. Tampa is, well, Tampa, but we have a realistic hope in hell of winning most of these games, and by the 10-game mark we should start seeing at least a little of Boucher's system in our own end (they didn't seem to have any problems assimilating his offensive system).

there's not one team that I think we can't beat this year. There are no dominant powerhouses anymore. MAYBE Washington when fully going.

in response to that though, i don't see that many teams that can't turn around and beat us also.

With prospects, you never want to get ahead of yourself, but where will Brown and White fit next year on Ottawa?
