I'm sure it means that concussions are overblown and no big deal.

I can't watch. Just tell me when it's over old friend.
Do we put in a claim? Might be interesting. Could probably use him.SeawaySensFan wrote:Cap'n Clutch wrote:SeawaySensFan wrote:The Phil Varone watch is in it's final hours...

It. Is. Ovah!
Meanwhile, our old pal Milan Michalek hits the waiver wire.

I'd be playing Puempel, trying Dzingel on L2, and give Paul/Perron some chances later on in the season.
I'd also trade Ceci for Trouba. Fair deal IMO.
Yeah, doesn't seem to match up with the tem philosophy of win now.Cap'n Clutch wrote:DefenceWinsChampionships wrote:I think the right move at this point is to play out the year with the current roster, give some of the guys in the A a chance, and hope Mac gets healthy. Sounds a lot like the last 3 seasons. Any chance we actually try to make the playoffs in the next while?

Also Winnipeg is interested in receiving a LHD not a righty in return. I'd be down to make that trade but I don't see it happening.

I don't necessarily see it being Winnipeg wanting a LHD. Trouba wants out because of the bottleneck on the right side - Winnipeg doesn't seem to care.
There would be no bottleneck in Ottawa for him and it would allow Ceci to play with less pressure in Winnipeg in the bottom pairing which is where he should be playing right now
