Dorion claims to have a list of up to 18 players that he likes in round 1. Assuming that's true, he should have no problem trading down and picking up an extra asset on the way. How much better of a player are you going to get at 12 than you would at 15? Nobody answer that because you don't know.

Yeah Bean is my realistic choice of who we are picking. My dream choice is Keller but that's not happening.

Do we really need another asset? And I don't really know if the guy at 15 is as good as 12. Years down the road you ask yourself if you would do that trade and more often you don't. I'd stick to 12. Another 2nd rounder would be nice but chancing not getting a guy like bean for someone like gauthier, meh.

I've heard it starts at 7. Pretty sure the first three picks are somewhat safe so you won't miss much in the first half hour to forty five minutes. But the 4th overall may be in play. If I were you I'd try to get to a TV somewhere by 7:30. Ask if any of the bars around Yankee Stadium are planning on having the draft on TV.

True, 3rd. Maybe it's a good pick, maybe not. Edmonton was sure happy (for whatever that's worth).

And that really signals to me that at least two of Zibanejad, Turris, Lazar, Paul will not be around 2 years from now.

Pronman was really high on the kid. One of the most creative players in the draft he said (or something like that).
