I really thought that team was going to be a playoff team this year.

Yeah, they are a little like us I guess...highly unpredictable. They had a good start to the year, and have been terrible for a while now.

It's incredible how bad Anaheim was to start the year and how good they are right now.

Well that's just normal. What was abnormal was their abysmal start. They're behaving like Anaheim right now.

Does that mean I'm moving up in the pool? Or does that just mean that *everyone* is moving up?

Unless "Lol" means "Lunging off ledge".

Which is a problem. This org always passes up on Russians even if they project to be very good players.

There was a time when they drafted a lot of Russian players and got burned. Then they gambled on Filatov and got burned again. Most likely it will take a new GM before they draft another one.

We'll likely have one this summer. Wonder how Dorion feels about Russians. I imagine closer to what BM feels.

To be fair BM hasn't drafted any of the failed Russians. He hasn't even tried. Filatov was a very low cost venture.

Everyone but the blackhawks (and apparently the maple leafs) missed the boat on Pannerin.

Could there be a better misspelling of his name? It's borderline unpronounceable. I love it.

And somehow it was autocorrected to that. My favourite was Roundleaf.
