McDavid had the puck on his stick for a hattrick with an empty net but, instead, gave it to Eberle for *his* first hattrick in the NHL.

Price is shutting it down for the season. ACL.

Here's the funny part: Could return for the playoffs.

The Habs haven't been a favorite team of mine for a long, long time. Was a fan in the '70s and '80s when I lived there. I moved here in early 1994 so I was still cheering for them on that 1993 Cup run. What a great time that was. 10 OT wins. They weren't supposed to be anywhere near good enough. Roy, Leclair, Muller, Keane, Odelein, Pepe Lemieux, Carbonneau, Red-Light Racicot. No Euros and not a single turtleneck in sight.

Looks like you're wrong, again, as usual.

La Presse was reporting it. May not be Bobby Mac but it's not @HockeyyInsiderr either. Besides the article you've linked merely quotes Therrien saying that it's speculation. He doesn't give a date or any indication that a date is forthcoming. So he could well have an ACL tear which will not require a surgery but which will keep him out the rest of the regular season (which was the "speculation").

I'm not going to read your post, and just assume you were apologizing for being wrong. Don't let it happen again.

Cowen has been placed on IR. Although he said he never felt better (at the golf outing) now he claims that he wasn't fully healed. Wonder if that's his agent's advice, since you cannot waive a player on the IR.

At least we're not the Jets. 8 shots through 2 periods tonight.

I really thought that team was going to be a playoff team this year.

Yeah, they are a little like us I guess...highly unpredictable. They had a good start to the year, and have been terrible for a while now.

It's incredible how bad Anaheim was to start the year and how good they are right now.
