Trade Deadline BONANZA 2015

I think Buffalo moving myers early started this whole bonanza early. I'm not sure if we'll be blown away by any last minute deals the way there's been a few in the last few days but I could see a few more happening. As for sens players moving its looking more and more like we might part with one or two players as consolation prizes if other deals fall through. We haven't got much to part with in comparison to other teams.

Sharp is basically the exact type of player the Sens need going forward. Maybe not right now but he's a guy that can play a role without question going forward. If you could take on a little salary at he cost of say a Zack Smith (who they have looked at in the past) plus a pick and mid tier prospect then they should be doing it. I wouldn't give up the farm though.

Former Sens draft pick Tim Gleason will be playing in Washington the rest of the year. Good add for the Caps who are looking for some experience and depth on the blueline. Cost them Hillen and a 4th.

I like Sharpie but can we really afford to bring in a guy with issues? This team is pretty young. Maybe it's just bad blood between individuals.

Rumours Simmonds could be moving as well. There's a guy the Sens could use.

I don't believe that simmonds rumour for a second.

Sharp I'd love if that was all it cost.

Zuccarello rumours are probably in an attempt to drive down his price (my guess).

The Cabin would love him to pick up where Statspadzza left off.

Sens getting calls on Wiercioch, Gryba, and Phillips.

Zucc getting traded from NYR is real because they have no cap space.

Jeff Petry will be a healthy scratch for the Oilers and is definitely getting traded somewhere before the deadline.

Zuccarello would be perfect here...I think he normally plays RW, but he shoots left, so we could put him on the left wing. We'd likely have to give up a ton though. And I obviously wouldn't make that trade unless I could negotiate a contract first.
