He was probably preoccupied by wondering why he wasn't in the top 3 shooters.

Blah. The second you see Michalek on pp 1, you know you're about Cussed. Michalek, greening, legwand = ~10 million dollars completely wasted.

I have a harder and harder time wasting my valuable spare time watching this team.

Probably would never miss a game to be honest, but it's so frustrating right now. There's a lot to like and a lot to want to get rid of like Michalek, greening, legwand, Phillips. Go away. Someone tell me guys like Robinson, Schneider, grant and claesson can't do what they're doing right now.

Buddy was a healthy scratch just last week, I think. It's not all rosy down there all the time. And Claesson has had a fall off in his play from last season. That said, I just cannot imagine how they could do any worse given what I'm seeing in every freaking game.

Patients, that's what this market is going to need. They will find a way to move bodies at some point, some way. Michalek I think is her for a little while longer, Greening as well but guys like Neil, Phillips, Legwand, and Condra I think there will be a market for.

All this said why would Ottawa not resign Condra (other than numbers) at this point? Perfect 13th forward, comes in, does his job, chips in with the odd goal here and there. Absolutely a guy you want on your team and need on your team.

I've always really liked Condra. No issue with him being a permanent 4th liner here.

I understand blaming Legwand, Greening, and Phillips to some extent, but we need to realize that this isn't why we're losing. Our top end talent isn't top end enough right now. And our D in general isn't good enough either. The only position where we don't need improvement is goaltending.

Don't think anyone is blaming those guys but it's pretty clear their roles on the team could be better served with guys with a little potential still or projects in general. #4 center, #6 D, and a 4th line winger... that ice time is much better served for guys like Wideman, Peumpel, Prince, Robinson, Grant, guys that may or may not be NHLers (I believe most in that group will be) but they deserve a shot and right now it's impossible with the log jam.
