yeah but it's weird that he's allowed to get in for free and sit in the press box

Not really... it's not like the real world where if you get fired you are done with that company. It's the hockey world, it's small, and most things are not personal. MacLean being fired certainly wasn't.

If you have been listening to me, I've been prattling on now for over a month about how our schedule in January and February is favourable (until the very end of Feb).  So even though the formulas used to calculate odds of making the playoffs have us generally around 10%, that number doesn't take into account "strength of schedule" which would likely bump us up a few points.  That said, the formula also doesn't take into account a team's inconsistent play and general inability to put in a good effort for 60 minutes....

Nor has the "Turdiss factor" been applied to said calculations.

But the calculations must then also take into account that Turdis is now our 4th line centre, so his negative impact is being minimized.

I guess you really can't get absolute answers out of endless calculations after all.

I just found it too much of a distraction. It is good for news but when something important happens I'll hear about it another way. Also there are a lot of trolls and negativity and I gotta get away from that.

Yeah, I never use twitter or hf anymore. It's useless.

Hf breaks trades and rumours well though.

it's all about how you use it. I check twitter when i hear a real rumbling going on to see it has legs. which usually means max once a month and then on FA day and deadline day. that is it, that is all.
as for facebook, it's good to hear about upcoming bands touring, invites to parties and some general articles. the problem is when people start positing everything, going to the gym, going out shopping, the restaurant. just post about important stuff or funny stuff and limit your posts.
