any updates on how that package is lining up for taylor Hall? are we trading all or just half of our best players?

i know edmonton fans are a little cuckoo but they have a lot to say about his unwillingness to play defense and how he just waits for the breakout passes, lack of forecheck... reminds me of someone we didn't want here.

He's a winger... he should be expecting break out passes and can cheat a little. Can't remember a winger ever winning the Selke.

if it was just that... his defensive game is put into question, no backchecking, just doesn't sound like a guy that wants to play the game the way it's gotta be played in the NHL.

Or the way it's been taught in Edmonton and the expectations put on him and the younger guys to be expected to play the right way. It's an awful mix there in Edmonton but hey, I am preaching to the choir in this site to say the least.

Fact is Hall isn't ruined by any stretch and fans are looking for someone to jump on... coach is gone, now it's best player time.

I saw this offer from a Buffalo blogger

Myers + Neuvirth + Hodgson + Islanders 2015 1st round pick + Prospect
Sabres receive: Taylor Hall + Viktor Fasth



personally i think you have to put Enroth and even then, it's not an amazing goalie being offered but Myers and to a lesser extent Hodgson would help them greatly. plus add another great prospect and you have the foundation for a deal that works on both sides.

Ducks are going to be pi**ed losing to the Leafs. Let's hope they go all out trying to kill the Habs tonight, so we get some real lame Ducks tomorrow night.

Well, Myers is a good starting point. Never mind the rest IMO. Buffalo would have to give up their top 2 prospects I think.

they did. but at some point edmonton is going to have to do something(apart from canning lowe)
you have to give up something to get something. I still don't understand what they did with Gagne. they have so many areas of need to fill. trading hall would probably be the asset that has the largest return.
