Neil has never and will never bring any team down he plays on. Does he have moments where you say "wtf?", yah he does but there aren't a lot of players where that isn't the case. He's a warrior, nothing short. Does what he's asked, does it well, knows his limitations, and works his a$$ off. For a decent return (2nd rounder or better) it's worth it to give it a go especially in this draft coming up.

Anderson, who knows what he can fetch but again I think they should be going after draft picks in the first two rounds coming up here, it could be over hyped but this is a draft where you want lots and lots of picks.

Neil would bring back probably a late rounder at this point in his career. That being said I don't see him playing anywhere else

Anderson could likely garner a late 1st rounder. I'd rather get a good young prospect, but who knows. The goalie market is kinda unpredictable. As I said, we need some key injuries first.

He's worth a lot more to a playoff team looking for some grit than a late round pick. He has a year left on his deal, has never been traded, great team guy, and can change the momentum of a game which is tough to find. 2nd rounder might be a little much but we'll see how many teams are selling off at the deadline.

With all the hype, I'd be surprised if anyone traded a 1st rounder this year.

If a contender loses their #1, it could happen. Speaking of which, someone should snap Rask's spine tomorrow.

Yah I can see prospects being moved out for a #1 goalie if teams get desperate but not really sure there will be anyone moving their 1st rounder outside of the ones that have already been moved. Maybe Buffalo would be willing to move the Islanders later in the season if they really need a #1 goalie but again I doubt that.

I think it's too early to start thinking about a fire sale. I wouldn't be opposed to trading Neil but I just don't see it happening. Will probably retire after next season anyway.

Phillips on the other hand - boy was he awful last night. He's someone that can fetch an okay return at the deadline. All depends on what the Sens do with Methot who at this point I certainly can't see re-signing here. Trade his a$$ before it's too late.

Methot, Neil, Phillips (hopefully), Anderson, Methot, Greeening, Condra.... all of these guys could very well be moved for the right price or in the right situation but it just depends on how long it takes Melnyk and Murray that the Sens don't have a shot this year.

Cameron really had them forechecking hard, that's something that I think we can all appreciate. Chiasson and lazar in particular were all over the kings d. Next step is to continue the defensive zone work, but for game 1 vs a powerhouse id say Cameron started out positively.

Anderson wasn't great, that'll happen from time to time. Karlsson was really poor, not sure how Cameron is gonna handle that. The necessity for a true partner for Karlsson is starting to become more and more urgent.

"Phillips is awful and has been awful all season."

"Phillips can fetch an OK return."

It's not both.

Agreed. Same line of thought for Greening, Condra, Wiercioch, Michalek. Ottawa is not a very good team and these players have, or should have, watched more than they have played. At this point if someone will take any of these players, let them go so the next GM can have more money to play with.

All this for a team that is 4 points out of the playoffs. If they win Saturday, they are two out.

For all the McDavid talk, this team would draft 10th if the season ended today.

As for Cameron, he probably has until the ASG with the current roster before they look to blow it up.

Look at where they are going, not where they are. They were 9-4-5 at one point, it's not going to turn around anytime soon and the teams behind them are a lot closer as well.

What is there to 'blow up' on this team? Phillips, Neil maybe Anderson? Big deal. Michalek has busted, we need a top 9 guy who can actually score and a number 2 Dman. Anyone giving those away? Don't think so.

Yeah, they've played pretty well in the past three games. There current level of play, plus goaltending, will keep them from busting hard.

We'll see but "playing well" is relative. We'll see how well they play against teams that have a little something to play for whether that's a playoff spot or jobs on their respective clubs. Hardest games to win at this point for the Sens will be the Buffalo's, the Washington's, and the Panther's. All teams with something to lose.

They have 2 cups, lol... not sure what else you can really do to prove your owrth.
Without Mitchell and Voynov they are overrated. Overall team D is quite good (Sutter) but the current D corps is not elite, good enough, but not elite like the talking heads like to say.
