Ottawa Prospect watch 14-15

A lot to like in that list. I'll be very interested to see how Francis Perron turns out. Started playing Major Junior at 16.

Interesting to note that while the myth that Detroit "keeps" finding late round gems persists, Ottawa is the team that actually does it for real.

Lindberg and Perron are intriguing prospects. I especially liked what Lindberg did in his limited pre season time.

Tobias Lindberg just got a hat trick in the first PERIOD of his OHL career tonight's game.

Maybe first postseason game.

Lindberg is an interesting prospect and could be the saving grace from that Bishop trade. Good speed, good size, willing to come over to NA and learn the NA game so he has some will to make it, and obviously some offense.

Tough to say if he will be in the NHL at any point, he's playing on a stacked, ready to win Oshawa team and getting lots of ice time. Hopefully it works out for him, might be ready for Bingo next year as well.

He's had a very solid "rookie" season in Oshawa.

Wonder what the Sens do with Vincent Dunn. Got kicked off another team, this is I believe the 3rd or 4th time and he didn't exactly have a great year for an over age player. Sens should probably cut ties with him at this point because he has a lot wrong upstairs. A lot of family issues with him as well.

One of the local french media said the Senators said they intend to stick with him.

Well lucky for him the Sens have little depth in Bingo so he may get a shot but he has a lot wrong with him upstairs. Hope it works out for the Sens and for him because there are enough tools there to make a professional career.

For Lindberg, any kid that comes overseas to play in the CHL is awesome in my book. Lehner did it too.

There's nothing they really can do unless they trade him

Liked Lindberg immediately when I saw him. Think he can be a player if a lot of things continue to go right.

anyone else think SDC could transition into a winger? We have a bit of a logjam at C. Thoughts?
