This one's almost one we could pass and just fill in Stone, but people's opinions might change I guess.

I really like Claesson.....and Ceci.....but I'll vote Stone because you all brainwashed me.

I certainly like what I hear/read about Claesson but he is a defensive defenseman and it's hard to get excited about those unless they have something else going for them, like size, extra mean streak, bigness, leadership, spatial excellence.

stone for sure but Ceci not far behind. i'm not sure stone is a top line player as some believe but for sure he could be a very effective top 6 for us for years to come.
the same for ceci, he's most likely going to be a effective top 4 d-man for us but he might be a top 2. time will tell.

That's the thing though, he does things very effectively and very quietly. He's not a razzle dazzle D-man, but in terms of effectiveness, there's a reason Richardson called him Kronwall without the offense.

Volchenkov was an offensive black hole. Would be hard to *not* have more offensive pop than him. That said, Claesson is not an offensive D-man by any stretch.
