I'm satisfied. We took on no cap space and it sounds like this is the swirlmino to a lot of other action today. Addition by subtraction. Hoping for a good day today.

Nope, and i think we all saw this coming, when he nixed Nashville, and nothing got done with St.Louis by start of draft

Chaisson is a quality player so that's a positive. 2015 2nd will be a solid prospect. Don't hate it but underwhelming.

Chiasson is solid, really loved his last playoffs.

Now, the Sens are like what, 10M under the cap? Major signings coming I think.

Read a bit on Guptill. Sounds like a good pick up.
Now I notice there's practically no cash coming back. So we have to spend big to reach the cap.
This could get interesting.

Capgeek has us at about $46mil in terms of cap payroll. I expect OTT will be at about $57-59 mil in terms of cap payroll when it's all said and done.

Chiasson is a big, big winger, who will get a lot stronger in Ottawa.  Could see him and Z-Bad together wreaking havoc.

I think that's optimistic since we technically don't have to fill any more roster spots......but we'll see.

Chiasson is a nice pickup, so is the prospect but the Sens can't ride on that, they need to make a splash on 45 minutes and sign Ryan and Mac or this day might be a dark one for Sens fans.

We have 15 NHL ready forwards and 8 NHL ready defencemen. We have lots of roster spots to fill via trade.
