I think that is a stupid position to take, if we get a mid-late round 1st rounder why not swing for the fences for a guy with a lot of top end potential instead of players whose potential ceiling is a Nick Foligno or worse?

I mean it's not like players can smarten up or mature over the years or anything .... same Dung said about Kane and Seguin among others and they have Cup rings.

It's not like he's a certified nutjob like Grimaldi.

The fact he is in you organization at all is why you wouldn't use a pick on him.   It's called a cancer.  Ho Sang isn't the type of player that is going to smarten up either, you can either take my word for that or don't but I have more info on that kid that basically anyone on this site or HF or hockey buzz or anyone that isn't in the Windsor organization.  If he went undrafted I wouldn't sign him as a UFA.

Seguin and Kane have NOTHING on Ho Sang.  There is a reason why he is a top 5 talent that will fall out of the first round.

As for not being a nut job... yes he is, his entire family is and that's the problem.

Still think that's an amazing stat and just shows how little value that 1st overall holds in the grand scheme of things... at least the value of that pick is extremely overrated.

VAN trades 3rd round pick acquired in Kesler deal to NYR for Derek Dorsett. So add Dorsett to VAN's return on Kesler.

Rangers dumping salary to make room for the key guys they have to sign and probably worried about the cap maybe not going as high as they thought.
