Yeah, Crosby has absolutely no help whatsoever. Just a 1st overall pick between the pipes and a 2nd overall (probably should've been first) sometimes riding shotgun, a Norris finalist from last year and still not quite in his prime. Let's not forget Neal, Kunitz, Sutter.

Clearly, he thinks it's Crosby. I'll give him props for the regular season, but he's far down the list in the playoffs (and not just this year).

Y'know, the comparison of the supporting casts between Crysby and Toews is valid. It's not like Crysby is playing with a bunch of AHLers. As W.P. states, Crysby has Malkin, Kunitz, Neal, etc, plus Letang (when healthy) on the backend.

That said, I still think Toews is surrounded by better players overall.

I watched the first period of the Kings/Ducks game and actually thought the Ducks would win.  It's a shame that one of these teams has to go out this round.  The Ducks outshot the Kings 37-17.

The Pens are playing better.. but the Rangers have played 5 games in 7 days.. which in the playoffs is beyond ridiculous. No way any playoff team should play that many games in that small time frame... it's just plain stupid. I get building availability.. but other teams have 3 or 4 days inbetween games... That will have a factor in this series..

Habs @ Bruins Game 3 tonight @ 7pm ET. Series tied 1-1.

Blackhawks @ Wild Game 3 tonight @ 9pm ET. Hawks lead the series 2-0.

There isn't a player in the NHL who is more consistent from game 1 of the regular season to game 7 of the finals than Toews... well consistent and important.  To me that means best player in the game today, goal line to goal line, game to game, season to season.
