Vermette gets the hattie and the Yotes win it 4-3 in OT.

Jeezus Diddle. Dung teams find ways to lose when leading. We are a Dung team at the moment. Unfuckingbelievable.

And Methot got one goal taken back. Turris tipped the 1st one in.

Oh, and Anderson maybe should be able to stop a backhander along the ice? Or Karlsson maybe should be picking his nose in OT.

OK, are they double digits out of a playoff spot yet? Please? So I can stop hanging on and just let go.

Couldn't hold a 2-goal 2nd period lead with 7 PP opportunities given to us (you think there was a memo from the league after the last two games?)

Joke.

That was a great game by the Sens IMO. They controlled the pace for the most part. Spezza should have cleared that puck. Just pretend they lost in the shootout

No, not double digits yet...

The Dung east.

Everyone is still in it.

Great game we would have gone 2 for 7 (or better) on the PP and not taken yet another useless, late penalty. Last game Smith fails to clear it three times on the same shift, but because Turris dives and swats it out of the zone he's not the goat. Truth is he was a triple goat but got lucky it didn't bite us.

They were the better team. If they had a good record before this, nobody would care about the loss.

But losing is a good thing, and more people, even the media, are starting to notice how Spezza is the problem.

A great game needs to go to the end. This seems to be our MO these days. Play a great 55 min and then puke.

i had fun watching it for the most part. watched it with my friend from Phoenix that now lives here. it's more excitement then he ever got over there.

i thought we'd win it, nice to see Methot out there working hard.
once i get down with the idea that this club is owned by a moron, that we'll probably lose bobby ryan and that we'll really be set back a couple of years by it in terms of drafting and being competitive then maybe i'll really learn to enjoy more these half loss.

We've played a lot more games than the teams ahead of us still in the hunt. Carolina is tied with us in points but has played three fewer games -- they'd have to go on a 3 game losing streak. New Jersey has the same points, too, with two games in hand.

We also have Pittsburgh, Boston x 2 and Washington to close out the year. We need the impossible to happen.

Fragile is the word I'm really looking for to describe this team.
