Even weirder. With Pageau Bingo-bound, new lines:

Steve Lloyd ‏@TSNSteveLloyd 1m

Conacher-Spezza-Neil, MacArthur-Turris-Ryan, Michalek-Smith-Zibanejad, Greening/Kassian-Grant-Condra. New Sens lines.

I am trying to see the logic in Spezza playing with those two and can't quite figure it out? Maybe just to get pucks on net and score some dirty goal from other lines? Defensively Spezza has been struggling but yah, I don't get that one but I'm not an NHL coach or in the dressing room.

are those actually practice lines or game lines? if it's practice lines he just might be trying something new. doesn't mean he'll actually go with it during a game. does smell like desperation though...

Maybe Mac trying to take everybody (except the turris line) out of their comfort zone.....Would rather have Zibanejad and conacher with spezza.

Or as shabbs likes to say quite often....PMac is mindfucking

They are the lines being used in practice, which normally coincide with the lines used in the next game.

Maybe we're looking at it the wrong way. Maybe Spezza is being demoted to the third line along with Conacher.

Splitting up Methot/Karlsson definitely smells of trying to get him out of his comfort zone.  Way too "comfortable" on Toews' second goal or the no-back-check that led to the shortie.

Interestingly, Methot is playing the right-side paired up with Wiercioch.

So...where's Cowen?  With Phillips on the 3rd pairing or the pressbox where he probably should be?

Buffet confirms it'll be Lehner Time.

Looks like chris phillips is now play with Karlsson , Methot with Weircioch
Perhaps for a little accountability for Eric "No F'n God" Karlsson? Shape up or work the dish pit at Big Rig brew pub.
