Down a goal we start the 3rd with the Zibanejad line. Except it's not because he is on the wing. Why do Smith and Neil start the period when they need a goal? Then they keep getting more shifts. They maybe the best line (debatable) but not best chance to score. Facepalm

Yup, Wideman or Ceci would be an improvement in that area over Corvo and maybe Gryba right now. That said Gryba is exactly what you want in your #6, 7 D man.

Is MacLean leaving Anderson in to legitimize giving Lehner a string of starts?

Hope so because Lehner gives the Sens the best chance at winning at this point. Anderson might get one more game against Chicago coming up but other than that Lehner should be getting some starts soon.

One thing is becoming very clear, MacLean is really sticking with the vets... we'll see if that pays off as the season moves on.
