"Playing shape." Take a hike. His hand is hurt. He'll be able to do plenty of exercise and keep his cardio going.

I wouldn't call Finland a joke, especially with Rask in net. Also have no idea how you can call the Czechs a joke.
Jagr and Nedved. Jagr has been reduced to a PP specialist. How is he going to do against 20 year olds on Olympic ice? Nedved? I didn't realize he was still skating.
Michalek hasn't been good this year. At all.
Elias, Hemsky -- they'd be on Canada-3 team.

Now they may have a chance at bronze....I'd say czechs have a chance. I just don't see it for the finns. Especially with no Mikko Koivu

You have your Koivus mixed up.

I really don't give a damn what he has done in the past... it's about how he is playing now... and that's not as good as others left off the roster.
How in the heck Couture got left off the team is beyond me.. Nash 18 pts in 27 games with a plus/minus of -2. Logan Couture.. 34 pts in 43 games with plus/minus of +13. I know Couture is out 3-4 weeks... but so is Luongo injured and Stamkos...
Then the defense...Seabrook should definitely be there... 31 pts in 45 games with a plus/minus of +22. He is paired with Keith on Chicago's top pairing and has 2 Cups since the 2010 Olympics Gold medal. How he got left off in favour of Subban is beyond me..
Other than those 2 omissions looks okay to me.
This tournament is a sprint not a marathon... Chemistry within the team has to be almost immediate..

Thornton should be there, perfect big ice player, but no room at centre.
Sorry thing carter was with Richards in 2010 but he was just a reserve
