This is not a poll about NHL readiness.

Sorry, I've got too many things in my life to get excited about a player I won't see for another 2-3 years. Look what happened to Noesen. Gone, just like that.

And it's not just NHL readiness but also team need. We desperately need that RHS D-man and Ceci not only does that, but he's very gifted offensively. And we all know that defense can be taught moreso than offense.

I'd vote Ceci and Lazar about at the same rank, we need both. A Ryan Kesler type and a 2nd pairing RHD.
Just pointing out that for this poll, NHL readiness shouldn't factor much. Although if you wanna take that into consideration, I believe Ceci and Lazar will be both ready in 1 year.

I voted first for Pageau - because, you can't graduate a guy who played 9 regular season games, then 10 playoff games.  He's still 100% a prospect - and for all we know, he could come out flat next season and be sent back to the AHL.

As for Ceci, I have him next, but to me Prince has an enormous upside and I think this is a kid who can bang on the door to the NHL and perhaps get a couple of long call ups next season.

I voted Lazar 2nd, but really, he could have gone first.  Having the Edmonton play by play guy saying he's one of the best players he's seen in that uniform is a pretty big compliment.  Having the GM of the Oil Kings, Bob Green, saying he's the best player he's ever had, goes a long, long way as well:

http://blogs.edmontonjournal.com/2013/06/30/edmonton-oil-kings-forward-curtis-lazar-goes-to-ottawa-senators/

Lazar is the real deal.  He has character, he hits, he drives the net, he's a leader and he scores.  He probably should have been my number one, but I love Pageau's hands and hockey sense.

So if you had Pageau first, I assume that's who you voted. Then you say you had Ceci next, but you clearly voted Lazar.

And I think (not 100% sure) that I was the first one who voted Ceci, and given your Prince comments, I take it you voted Prince?

So where does Ceci, who is next, fit? I don't understand you.

Next after Prince, who I voted for in this poll.

Claesson might actually turn in to the most complete NHLer from that group...that said I voted for Prince.

Prager, nowhere did I see something that said that filling out the survey was compulsory for all members; if you have too many things going on or you're not interested, you don't have to hang out at this poll Smile

I think Prags is just a little touchy after learning how much money he was throwing away with Rogers.

Stone had better junior years, and a better AHL season. Plus, he's bigger. Plus, the whole World Jrs thing.

I dunno.

Not sure either, Stone's still a big time prospect. The problem is that there are a handful of prospects that are basically all on the same level, Stone, Prince, Ceci etc.
