Hoffman.

Also Dzingel should be up here. I have him as my #10 prospect at the moment (always changing...)

ya hoffman also but followed by Claesson. the guy could end up being a top 4 D for us down the line as opposed to the bottom pairing he use to be viewed at. really like the stuff i've read on him lately.

Hard to get excited about goalie prospects unless they are can't miss. And even if they make it, hard to get excited over a backup goalie.

They are a crapshoot.

that being said ranking Driedger here after Hoffman would be acceptable IMO. The players are a crapshoot after this spot.

Goalies in the first round are a crap shoot for sure but if you scout them correctly and develop them correctly organizations will tend to put through more goaltenders than others. Look no further than Nashville for the best example... Chicago did a fantastic job with Crawford, Ottawa with Lehner, and there are obviously other ones as well. If you get a guy with size, athletic ability, and a good work ethic, you can turn him into an NHL goaltender. Driedger will be an NHL goaltender and an asset to the Sens because you can trade a young backup for something proven down the line.

I don't see Hoffman as anymore of a sure thing than Driedger, that's for sure.

Yes but they won't be ready for 5+ years. Just saying that I think it's unfair to rank them with other players. I'd rank them separately.
