Also, sign Alfredsson this afternoon. What the Diddle, enough is enough.

Thank goodness it's Lebrun who doesn't know his arse from his elbow.

That said...the Sens said they wanted a big winger who can bully his way to the front of the net and score. Size and speed.

Does that not sound like Ryan Clowe? Ahhhhh!

WTF? Lebrun is as solid as they come. He's very well connected to the French players especially.

Is he? I've found he's been throwing darts at a board this off-season, but if you say so.

We're better off making a trade for a top-6 or top-4 D if there's one available and the price is right.

The whole league not just the Sens.

Also Briere will make a short list soon, which should include Ottawa, NYI, Washington, Pittsburgh, NJ, and maybe NYR.

Bang on, as usual, Ev. Smile

He's injury plagued, but is he slow? I didn't think he was.

Done? Well then, that's that. He didn't even have that bad a year when he came over to the Rangers, is there something wrong with him?

I recall hearing he was concussed at the end of the year with the Rangers, is he done because of that?

Clowe had 8 pts in 12 games to finish last season after he got traded to the Rags. Maybe he's not entirely useless. If the dollars made sense, I wouldn't mind it, but he'll probably get $4M+ over several years. You can bet he'll want a long term deal.

Prediction: Sens scrape bottom of barrel after "real" UFAs are signed by other teams.

Details to follow.

Plus, he's a nice physical presence. I'm not sure he's done, but I trust Murray and co. to know better than I do obviously.

Prediction, the Sens nab a high profile D-man via trade. Bogosian or Boyle. More to come! Ahhhhh!

Or Bieksa if he's not useless anymore - especially with Gillis being mentally challenged.

Clowe is as slow as they come and I think he'll be hurting a lot from whatever long term contract he gets. Stay away from guys like that.

If they went out and grabbed Blum I would be pretty happy. That's a solid move that has long term benefits and a big pay off if it pans out. There may not be anyone in that barrel besides the Sens when Friday hits... or at least not a lot of teams.

That's why I call him Ryane Slowe. Highly comical.
