Our new-look lines:
Conacher-Turris-Michalek
Greening-Smith-Alfredsson
Condra-Zibanejad-Silfverberg
Latendresse-Pageau-Neil
That 2nd line is horrible. Blah.

I guess...he doesn't stand a chance with those two though. At least try a line of Alfie on the left side centered by Z-Bad and flanked by Silf (who I still seriously think could use a game off to recharge a bit).
Michalek is our best forward right now, him on a line with Z-Bad and Alfie would be interesting. So many combos....and he comes up with that one? Whatever I guess, defer to the Jack Adams nominee every time.

Smith played his best hockey of the year with Alfi and actually did something... not a bad options and it spreads out the scoring a little more.

It won't be worse than anything else we've put out there lately. We needed to shuffle things up from top to bottom. I think Greening is well-suited to play with The Alfie...it's just tough to know what to expect from Smith.

And what's happening to Spezza?

I wonder why we haven't put Latendresse back with the Swedish Sens mafia. That line was pretty good.

It seems Latendresse has 1 foot in MacLean's doghouse for some reason.

Smith has been largely fine this year. Good defensively and our best faceoff guy with Spezza out.
He just hasn't produced but I bet if this was an 82-game season he'd hit closer to what he did last year.

Probably because he's sow and won't be back next year
Would love to see the Leafs lose out and have everyone else move up, landing them in 8th to face Pitt. Heh heh.wprager wrote:LeKing wrote:Hopefully Montreal gets 2nd over Boston and we get 7th
It's still a possibility that the Leafs win the Division. True.
More likely, though, the Habs finally win one against the dejected Jets (their game starts an hour later than the Sens/Caps game, so they could be eliminated before they start the third).
