MacLean says Peter Regin & Mike Lundin will play tonight. O'Brien & Benoit will be scratches.

None of the 53 children were injured but apparently some guy shot a woman and then killed himself. No confirmation on the condition of the woman who was shot (CJAD in Montreal had apparently reported two dead but so far I've only seen confirmation of one -- the shooter).
Hug your kids when you get home today.

I think both of these d_ickheads were shot and killed by police. Go to hell!

I'm reading it was a murder-suicide due to a breakup.

The first one (presumed the shooter) was dead at the scene. The second one died in hospital. Both were male, contrary to earlier reports.

Not really. Some have caught up on the number of games played, but at this point are 5 up on the 9th place team with a game-in-hand; no-one chasing us has any games-in-hand on us; over the last 10 games we have 13 points and the only teams with more than that are the Penguins and Capitals -- those teams will be in the top-three and we don't care about them.
Over the last few weeks, pretty much every time I checked the points in the last 10, we were not giving up any ground on the teams behind us. The gaps changed, for sure, as certain teams played more (or fewer) games than we did, but like I said above, that's all over now -- we've got 12 games remaining, and no-one behind us has more.
They say the cut off will be 52-54 points. We've got 12 games remaining to get to 10 points. It's not a magic number or anything yet, but it's going to be pretty close. We have 13 points over the last 10 games. And we've added Conacher and Anderson.
