Will EK even be the same player when he comes back ? Will he be as fast ?

He will be fine after rehab and all that. But the season is over.

Yeah you sell off assets for youth and skill if possible. Not gonna be easy. This is tough to hear. I'm very upset

You make a move for the future and ROR is a guy you want to build the team with.

Sell gonchar, cut your losses. keep assets that are young with a future.
let's face it. this show is done. anything we try now will just be a very soggy band-aid. no use trying to fix something that banged up.
the best we can say is let the youth learn the NHL game. worked well a few years ago. we might benefit in experience from some of this but this season is done.

Yup, exactly what I am thinking. Ship him off to Columbus for LA's 1st and Wiznewski or something, let Lehner run with it now because there is absolutely no point in having Anderson in nets now.

And Anderson's value will never be higher (well that was yesterday).

Yeah, you gotta think the odds of us making the playoffs are really really slim now. It's just going to be frustrating to watch, knowing what could have been if we had a healthy Spezza & Karlsson. Seriously. And we have the Leafs on Saturday. Booourns.

I just hope EK is able to recover well and be back to his normal, Norris trophy self for next season, along with a healthy Spezza.

You pretty much hope Karlsson recovers fully, that's about it.
