Benoit has been pretty good so far. I'd put the loss more on that we should have scored more when we were schooling them in the 2nd.

Most games he has been fine but he's making minor league mistakes and he was a noticeable step behind guys tonight. He's been pretty solid so far but a guy on a two way deal cant have games where he costs his team the game. Tonight you could tell why he has never made the jump to the NHL, he was just a little slower, just a little weaker, and just a step behind all night.

Also, not having a RH shot to clear the puck out of the zone is driving me insane. Teams are getting it into the right corner all the time and working the puck from there because they know the Sens have trouble clearing it. I'm sure SSF will come in and say something about how it's just some sort side note...

They need some help up the middle for sure but Weiss had a good game for Florida tonight and they took one in Philly.

Might give Bishop the game against Buffalo on the back to back though, the Sens need to get that win against Winnipeg and Anderson will give them the best chance at that. Gotta make sure the teams behind the Sens don't beat them without taking a point.

All that crying aside if the Sens play like they did tonight they will beat most teams in the NHL.

Anderson looks less focused, starting to get a bit tired I think.
Karlsson leads the league in SHots on goal with 50. Next is Ovechkin at 44. Ridiculous.
Team plays better every game. I like it.
We're climbing slowly into the top echelon.
If we add Corey Perry in the offseason we're cup contenders. Spezza and Cowen still missing and we fire 47 shots on goal? Sign me the Diddle up

Why are you guys nitpicking stuff like that? We dominated this game, it's all that matters.

I was gonna say something along these lines, we deserved to win this game, we dominated for long stretches. We have Benoit and Lundin there instead of Cowen and a sexy 2nd pairing guy, Silf is amazing, the real deal. Z-Bad is well on his way as well, Anderson still made some amazing saves.

It's pretty much all good, just demoralizing tonight to lose that game.

Not going to win every game that we deserve to win, Dung happens.

I thought they played really well, Silfverberg coming alive more and more each game and Alfie is back.

Overall was a good game, we'll win a game we don't deserve to win down the road somewhere.

Silfverberg is going to start scoring in short order... important thing is he is getting the chances.

Tonight though you def saw how much the Sens need another D man, no question. A reliable RH shot, that's it.

Z.Michalek wouldn't look bad right about now.

Every single forward on this roster gets some open shots playing with Karlsson and for some reason Michalek is doing Dung. Needs to wake the Diddle up big time.

M.Michalek absolutely has to wake the f up for sure... If he's a player you have to deal for a guy like Perry straight up, you probably do it if it's possible to resign him.

Yeah I think Gryba will come up sooner than later. Send Wiercioch and Boro down to Bingo.

Not sure if I would trade for anyone at this point.

yeah keeps me wondering what's up with him. feels a little tired or a step behind. could he have hurt himself in europe and been playing with it since? or is he just not that great without spezza.

right now michalek + for a signed Perry would be a good move. unfortunately the more i hear the more I think they're trying to re-sign both in Anaheim.

They wanted to resign them last summer. The question is do they want to resign ? If they do, why haven't they already ?

If Perry/Getzlaf doesn't want to resign, arranging a sign and trade would probably be Anaheim's best option.
