The whole line isn't playing very effectively. Greening has been meh, Smith is handling the puck like a grenade and Neil has been average. For this team to win, they need to be aggressive and they need to be able to pass and cycle and make plays.

Karlsson played 32:08 in the game ?

Damn that's going to catch up with him at some point, I know he's our best player but he's gonna burn out with this schedule.

Yeah...problem is, we have no one else doing anything, so he needs to act as a rover like Neidermayer did.

No Spezza and the flu running through the team still. Bad timing.

Hopefully the flu clears soon. As for Spezza... gotta deal with that for a while. We need to score goals. Anderson's been doing his best out there and giving the team a chance every night.

Can we add Perry now? Please?

Anderson is so good...I think the guy has come into his own as an upper echelon number one. This isn't a fluke - although I'm forever scarred by our goaltending luck.

The Sens have to stop the parade to the penalty box. Sure, there have been questionable calls, but they have to stop giving the refs the chance of making a call. Look, if you are not hooking enough to even slow the guy down, what's the purpose of lifting your stick parallel to the ice and across the guy's hips? And they've got to be more aggressive closing the gap on the rushing forwards so that they hit them instead of getting called for interference when the puck is shot in.

And, please, no more talk of Regin on the 4th line because that's not the style he plays. He's fine riding shotgun with Spezza because he gets ignored. But Greening was fine there, too, and he actually opened up room and chased dump-ins.

4 game home stand against "meh" teams should be enough to get the team back rolling again. One thing is for sure, Regin shouldn't be seeing another game for a while, he's not an NHL player.

I agree with Ev when he says Smith has been awful as well. He needs to figure it out quick as well because he's not getting the job done either.

I think he's an NHL player, but just a tweener right now. Doesn't fit in on skill lines, doesn't grind enough for grinding lines...like he can catch up with the play at least and is decent defensively. Still don't want him around though.

I thought Neil had a good game. He was creating chances throughout the game. I won't be surprised if he scores a couple in the next few games. He's been buzzing around the net.

He's been the best of the three for sure.

32 minutes of pure godly talent wasted on humanly forwards corps.

Nope, he doesn't fit at all. He won't be waived just because of the Spezza injury but he won't be back next year, no chance. He will go the way of Scheubert.

Well, Bingo could use him.

Make it so.

Dane going down.

He might be a throw in if they make a deal, someone to fill up a roster spot on another NHL team.

I think he could be dealt personally. Even though I thought for sure he'd be a MacLean style player, he's done NOTHING. He could be a throw in with another mid level prospect for an NHLer.

Amazing the people that used to say they wouldn't trade him for Penner, lol.

He was a good player before all the injuries. That was in a different context/era
