Just in shock. No idea how they call that off let alone call a penalty.

Saw pmac barking at the refs.

Just another sloppy game for the sens. Michalek was quite useless. Sens can't score goals, plain and simple.

For what it's worth, Price looked fantastic.

Why can't the head office call down on those ones, eh? The guy's a foot outside his crease and runs into Silfverberg If anything, he was the one interfering with #33. Calls like that really need to be reviewed by the league. It seemed all night the refs were just looking for excuses. After that penalty on Turris (I think, could have been another one) the announcers said, well, yeah, that's a call they always make -- the stick was up around the hands and they always call it. Well Karlsson was carrying the puck behind his own net trying to bring it to the other side to clear it, and he was hooked all the way around. Stick in his mid-section, across the gloves, on the fore-arms You name it, it was there. No call.

Still, can't really say we lost that one because of the refs (we certainly lost a point though). They need help on face offs.

Michalek's going though one of his useless stretches. Dammit we need a top line winger - badly.

I don't care about stupid reffs, but the fact they didn't even review that was embarrassing to the NHL.

Anyways, we played good in the 3rd and kept pushing. Like I always say, with perspective and long term approach, we are easily the better team.

Was gonna say. That eased the pain a lot. We played our arses off when we started to skate and make passes. We'll be fine, there's still work to do in Spezza's absence - maybe a trade, maybe not, but this team looks like it has some fight.

For the Love of God play DaCosta. ONE power play goal and we're not even discussing that stupid goal.

Regin is struggling, so there you go.

Regin is coming out of the lineup. That much is evident. And even if DaCosta cannot do much with his chance I don't want to see Regin draw back in. At least Latendresse hits when he doesn't score. There was a play there when the puck was pinned against the boards. Regin was standing right next to the two players and just watched. He didn't try to push it one was or another, didn't want to get in there and start mucking around. I'm really sorry for him that he hurt his shoulder, twice, but even before that I always thought he was too much of a perimeter player. He has deceptive size, but in a bad way. Karlsson is way more physical out there and Regin has 2" on him.

It's not evident until it happens though. It would appear he's the one though.

Some things happen even when they are not evident:

Is there a Google maps app to measure the distance?

That's even further out than I thought. Seriously, the integrity of the league is at stake here. That ref has to be reprimanded. At best, he was out of position to make that call.

One guy who is also playing really poorly IMO is Zack Smith. He's coughing the puck up a ton and is just not playing confident.

The whole line isn't playing very effectively. Greening has been meh, Smith is handling the puck like a grenade and Neil has been average. For this team to win, they need to be aggressive and they need to be able to pass and cycle and make plays.

Karlsson played 32:08 in the game ?

Damn that's going to catch up with him at some point, I know he's our best player but he's gonna burn out with this schedule.

Yeah...problem is, we have no one else doing anything, so he needs to act as a rover like Neidermayer did.
