Considering that we have four of their forwards and their goalie burgling for NHL records I think that's understandable.

He couldn't do anything as a winger at the start of the season, and he not going to replace Pageau as the 3LC. So he either a Black Ace or in for Legwand.

If the Sens make it, and then if they manage a long run, then there will be opportunities for Smith to draw on at some point. Otherwise I don't think Cameron will play with the lineup just because Smith is ready.

On the other hand, imagine if Boston just take and the Sens not only make the cut but clinch it with a couple games to go. Could see a few players making comebacks.

He's played a lot more hockey than just the start of *this* season and has had good games on the wing. So there are a lot more options than just being a Black Ace or filling in for Legwand.

Anyhow, we'll keep an eye at what he does in Bingo and maybe have a better idea of where he's at after a few games.

This year? Compared to Greening, maybe. Smith has been pretty useless.

Without looking it up, Pageau probably has more hits and definitely a better FO record.

A lot of guys were "useless" earlier this year until they hit their stride later on. Difference for Smith is he didn't have the same opportunity due to injury.

Smith is easily a better option than chiasson

Can't disagree with that. But I'd he a better option on the wing then Neil? Peumpel? Greening, even? It's not like we are playing with elven forwards.

Think this is the wrong thread for O-Sens lineups.

Pfft. You're thread policing is hypocritical at best and farcical at worst.

I don't get your choice of switching Puempel and Hoffman.

It's what the coach did last game and is doing this game.

Hoffman has been careless, even reckless, with the puck recently. Not sure I agree with starting him on line 4, but nonetheless, a message is being sent for sure.
