Great game, except for the final score 1-0 Rags

Damn man. Goalies were on tonight... Sens had a few opportunities but just could not convert. Fukking Boyle scores the lone goal... DAMMIT.

GO SENS GO!!! Gotta take Game 4.

We outplayed them, but lost... that's what happens when a goalie steals a game for ya. BAH! Lunqvist is amazing. Anderson was amazing tonight too.

Not much to say about this one. Lundqvist was great, was spectacular too. The Rags got the one lucky bounce on their goal.

I think the most important thing to take away from this game is that if we keep playing like that, we'll win the next one. Especially if we get The Alfie back. This is the kind of game where he could've made all the difference.

Props to Butler too, thought he had a solid game. Konopka also impresses me.

Might be age, he can't shoot anymore, missed every one-timer attempt this year, he used to be so good at getting pucks through.

gotta stay away from the internet during the playoffs. so many awful opinions and overreactions (I don't mean on this site). Already see so much Spezza bashing. Yeah he hasn't played up to par but they are pretty much focusing their entire D on shutting him and Michalek down. Every opportunity has been created by the other lines + the D.

on the bright side they dominated + took 1 out of 3 without Spezza and Michalek doing anything. Positives.

Spezza needs to look at tape and see what he can figure out, he's being suffocated.

I don't think there's anything he can do, he's too slow to make room for himself. He's also become predictable because he'll enter the other team's zone and throw the puck to the other side almost every time.

Someone has to make room for him. Maybe when Alfie returns if we can load up the 1st line and put Butler with Turris since he seemed to have some real drive tonight.

I think if that's the case, he needs to get the puck at our blueline and rush right up the middle. Make sure the wingers are following you to the net and just rip it. It's tough sledding out there for sure, there's almost no room, but we need him badly. As you say, it's good that Butler looked great in there, he might be able to help.

EDIT: Basically take a page out of what Karlsson's doing. He doesn't have (quite) Karlsson's speed, but when he gets to his top speed, his strides really carry him and the D naturally backs off, more options etc.

Also, now that these games appear to have turned into intense games instead of tests of brute strength, it's too bad we can't get Zibanejad in there - and/or Silfverberg.

Speaking of stupid opinions and comments lol, "Steve from Stittsville" e-mailed the Team 1200 show and said they should dress Klinkhammer over Spezza hahaha.

Change nothing. Less Spezza in the sin bin would be nice. Do that again and we win the game.

I don't have many complaints about tonight. sure we had some unlucky bounce and yes if some of the players of our players would of gained a half a second in reaction time we might have score a couple but we showed that we could dictate the tempo of the game and that we were in possession of the puck more then the rags. solid effort out there and no way if we put the same effort next game we can't come out victorious. a great series is shaping up. we could of really needed Alfie out there. by god I hope he's ready to go by next game. we just don't have the depth on our top6 to go without him.... not till silf gets over here.

btw I did get my habs friend to wear a sens jersey to watch the game(it was a yashin one so double joke on him) but did I jinx the night?
