It was a one-sided fight, that is all. Hardly any different than what Boyle did to Kalrsson.

Weber didn't even get suspended for a non-hockey play. At least hockey allows fighting.

Yeah even if he does get suspended, he didn't play last game. He was clearly dressed for a purpose.

Oh c'mon. I think the level of aggresivity was quite different then the Boyle/Karlsson from the game before. Carkner took him for a floor ride. Kept beating on him as he was going down. I'm not disapproving but I'd hate it if someone took out Karlsson like that. I'd be begging for a suspension.

Boyle =/= Karlsson. If it was a real player and not a thug, fine. But Boyle is a cheap player. Going after Karlsson was cowardly.

Susan Boyle hardly looked marked up. Even after Neil I could only see a tiny scuff under his right eye. I think Carkner let up a bit. Suspension would make no sense as this was a fight. Clearly Boyle is OK to fight as he had a dust up with Neil later. Although in all honesty I would have preferred if they just tried to catch him with a big check. Last game, if they still hadn't caught him, *then* you pick a fight.

Big differences were:
- Carkner got 2 for instigating and 5 for fighting plus a game
- Boyle got matching minors for roughing

The NHL still owes us. A lot.

See, this is what I don't get.

Game 1, Boyle attacks Karlsson in a clearly one-sided, unprovoked attack and both players get 2 minutes.

Game 2: Kuba does the same thing to Hagelin after swinging at Anderson. Kuba gets he lone 2 minutes.

So, what I don't get is why aren't all post-whistle scrums penalized one way or another?

There is NO consistency and no method to the calls.

was in reference on the first goal but after review it hit philips pad and made the puck change trajectory and wobbley
