Sens vs. Rangers

Carkner's size will hopefully be an asset versus some of the more physical Ranger forwards, but I'd definitely try to keep him away from the Gaborik line, as they can move pretty quick. Being on the road means MacLean doesn't have the benefit of matching lines off of faceoffs.

That's a great nickname.

I think we need to have a Detroit-esque playoff ritual - throwing rubber chickens on the ice - in honour of Pinkie

True, but would you rather a slower, but very physical player, who can at least try to box guys out, or Gilroy? I'll take the slow guy personally.

Goodie Wilson says that The Giller will likely get Game 1 anyhow.

Really? Why?

I think The Giller is supposed to be more proficient at the style the coach wants to play vs. the Rags.

Fair enough, didn't realize we were going for the "Bumble Diddle" style though.

I picked the Rangers to take it in 7, but if Anderson sees a lot of rubber we could have a much better chance, he thrives when he sees lots of shots. I think this is going to be a very close, emotional series. I can't wait for the Tortorella soundbites too, lots of entertainment to come.

Remember though, we're already playing with house money here, they're most certainly not. Can't even put into words how much more pressure that is on them.
